Frequently Asked Questions

Everything families ask before booking traditional Tamil wedding music.

How do I book a Nadhaswara vidwan in Chennai?
Call or WhatsApp us on +91 99435 91411 with your date, venue and function timing. We confirm artist availability immediately and hold the date with a small advance.
How much does a Nadhaswara party in Chennai cost?
Packages depend on the number of artists, function duration and travel distance. A 2-artist nadhaswaram and thavil set for a short pooja costs far less than a full-day wedding ensemble. Call us for an exact quote — pricing is transparent with no hidden charges.
Do you serve as a Nadhaswara vidwan in Tambaram and nearby areas?
Yes. We are based in Selaiyur, Tambaram, and regularly perform in Chromepet, Pallavaram, Perungalathur, Mudichur, Medavakkam, Velachery, Guduvanchery, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram and all over Tamil Nadu.
How many artists come for a wedding?
A typical Tamil wedding is covered by two nadhaswaram vidwans, one or two thavil artists and an ottu (drone) player. Larger temple functions can be scaled up on request.
How early should I book?
For peak muhurtham dates, two to four weeks in advance is safest. We are available 24 hours and do accept short-notice bookings whenever artists are free.
Can we request specific songs or ragas?
Absolutely. Share your list in advance and our vidwans will include your family's favourite kritis and mangala ragas.
Do you travel outside Chennai?
Yes, we perform across Tamil Nadu. Travel and stay are added to the package for outstation functions.
Do you provide sound system and amplification?
We carry our own mics for standard halls. For large open venues we can coordinate with your sound vendor or arrange amplification for an extra charge.
